Astrology Birth Chart
Astrology birth charts, or natal charts, offer insight into an individual's cosmic blueprint. These maps reveal personality, strengths, challenges, and purpose through celestial body placement. Birth charts connect symbolic meanings to various aspects of life, such as love, career, and relationships. Understanding astrology provides self-discovery, connection to the universe, and awareness of destiny.
When I first started my self discovery journey, I was not too familiar with astrology. The only astrology that I was able to see was on TV or read the horoscopes in a magazine back in the day, reading my Sagittarius (I’m a December baby) horoscope for the week and seeing I was compatible with my crush at the time…
Over the course of the years, I was able to develop more familiarity with astrology and learn from my mentor Monica Lorraine on how to read and interpret my birth chart. Thanks to her support I’ve been able to really uncover all the various things that reside in my birth chart, such as my soul path, my wound in this lifetime, and what am I what I’m here to accomplish as a life lessons depending on the transit in the sky. Now I’m able to rely on the astrology daily, as if it was the weather!
Having a birth chart read for the first time might be a little overwhelming, at least it was for me. The more I followed the string to astrology and the different houses in the various planets, and hearing about all the transitions for the planets, Mercury retrogrades, moon cycles, and the significance of how they play in my daily life has been a complete game changer for me.
One of my favorite resources that I have been able to rely on is the moon cycles of new moon and full moon through Yasmin Boland’s Moonology Book, Oracle cards, and yearly diary journal. These tools have taught me how to pay attention and track these various Astrological events in my birth chart. I’ve used this as a tool to also decipher What may be going on with my immediate family, since at times it’s hard to understand where they’re coming from.
Now being able to understand how to read a birth chart and the transit meaning what’s currently happening in the sky, I’m able to understand why I’m feeling emotional or why certain things are coming to a float to work through a particular house that’s being affected by planets or the such.
